James Talk – Music Is 4 Lovers.com – Exclusive Mix – October 2012

James Talk is a Southampton born DJ that is currently enjoying success all around the world. After a little dip he really is making movements nowadays with some new releases coming up on Dirtybird,  and no one can dispute why when hes bringing out mixes like this.

There some great house tracks on the mix, with a mix between some more upbeat tunes, and the dirty German sounds we all know and love.  However one thing i really like i the dirty garagey grimey undertones that come out during the mix. Be it through ‘Trogan’ at the start or the quick drums that are prevalent throughout, it really adds an extra element to mix. Especially the garage drops that seem to come out of no where which are accompanied by some great oldschool vocals.

Tune of the mix has to go out to the JZ Edit of ‘The Curb’ by Spectrasoul, however every tune in this could have got this honour my love  of DnB just swayed the votes slightly (sadly i could not find the single track for this)

Definitely worth a listen, and a great warm up session for your night out!
